heat stroke alert... it's almost that time again, the smell of bbq's all around and half nude dudes drinking it down. HEAVY HAWAII, the latest project of matt, sundar, andrew and jose is on the verge of an eruption... lava's flowing in all the right directions. they sound better then ever. matt the master mind and vocalist behind HH and sundar the third world player were members of the late FANTASTIC MAGIC. andrew was also apart of FM, but joined towards the end. he also works on a solo project by the name of JEANS WILDER. and as for jose, the little genius on the drums. he's a third generation drummer, following the foot steps of his father and grandfather. those boys are not to be missed. the sound of heartbreak and love lost. long nights and no sleep. ladies please, it's a suicide summer. lock up your daughters, for it's gonna be heavy.

kansas city cult

last night couldn't have been more perfect... me, nicole, dylan and michael decided to go see SSION play as opening act for fischerspooner. i didn't really expect much. i've known about cody and his entourage for a number of years now and have always been a little taken by his music. for some reason, i knew it'd be a sweaty god good time... but i didn't realize we'd end up hanging out with them. he was as i imagined, queen bee and the sweetest angel ever.

Oh man, what a weekend. Me and my friend Andrew got pretty retarded this weekend and took an insane amount of E... We started off the night at a house party that CHRISTMAS ISLAND hosted for Rolling Stone Magazine. I guess they spent the weekend reviewing the San Diego music scene... among the bands: WAVVES and CROCODILES were interviewed. Anyways, It's your typical saturday night in slow death San Diego.... All the freaks come out and gather to crunk out the night. But me and Andrew were on a different mission.... It was higher then life. 

P.S We stayed up for more then 38 hrs(what the heck).
